Piana miele’s production is based on respect, a core value In order to realize only ethically aware and careful products. We place our trust in every little bee and we respect its need, work and life. At the mean time, we respect the environment in which our bees live and create honey, to maintain balance and harmony in every production fase.
PROTECTION
To protect, means for our beekeepers to observe and intervene only when it’s necessary. Thanks to Melixa, a system that allows us to collect in depth data on the hive, our work and the bee’s one are protected, and the result is a superior quality product.
It’s an electronic device that collects data with passive sensors: it doesn’t affect, in any way, the bee’s activity, and it allows to collect data in order to create a STORICO and progressively improve the productivity of the hives, in addiction to reporting any anomalies and it allows the beekeeper to promptly intervene to resolve them.
WAIT
From the bee and environment’s respect comes our ability to know how to wait: waiting is the most precious ingredient for our product’s production, because it allows nature to follow his times, essential requirement for a qualitatively optimal result. A good honey is achieved only if you learn to wait.
